The Redskins announced they have released the following players today:
CB Breon Borders
CB Dee Delaney
S Montae Nicholson
CB Coty Sensabaugh
CB Kayvon Webster
The most notable name on this list is former 4th round pick, and starting FS Montae Nicholson. He has been in the news for his off-field activities the last two seasons, and his play on the field wasn't holding up. The Redskins officially announced the signing of Sean Davis who is expected to take his spot with Troy Apke backing him up.
The 4 CBs released were part of the stream of street free agents signed last year to keep Josh Norman on the bench...
The #Redskins just announced they've released five defensive back, including Montae Nicholson, who started at free safety last season. https://t.co/kNcNAbwDMZ
