The Redskins are reportedly re-signing restricted free agent DT Caleb Brantley. He was one of two RFAs Washington had going into free agency this year. The team is not interested in retaining DE Treyvon Hester.
Brantley came into last season likely to make the Redskins roster, and be a part of the defensive line rotation. He suffered a "mild" Lisfranc injury to his foot in early, and then reaggravated the injury in Week 1. He was placed on IR the following week.

On the Caleb Brantley signing. Not a surprise, but the two sides agreed on a 1-year deal, per source.
