Will not be going after Cam. i'm sure there's interest in some other FAs, but also have to get TW situation finalized. that will help, whether adding a player or a pick(s) https://t.co/Be6ObW5QxG

I do not think they’re done. They swung big on Amari Cooper for a reason. They viewed him as a playmaker and they know they need to add more weapons. Just a matter of getting something done.
— John Keim (@john_keim) March 21, 2020
If they’re shopping Dunbar, they should be active in the current CB FA market. I’d still go get Breeland back personally. https://t.co/cQ9E2kuygL
— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) March 22, 2020
I think if you could trade Trent Williams to Tampa for OJ Howard and a 3rd, that would be ideal https://t.co/iCS2VNjd7s
— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) March 21, 2020
I don’t think they believe they’re set at the position. I think it’s more likely they didn’t value the options available and didn’t want to overspend or force the issue. Expect they’ll address it in the draft (or maybe a trade) https://t.co/xo1K2lQaJv

Re: Redskins insurance policy on Alex Smith
— Mark Tyler(Hogs Haven) (@Tiller56) March 21, 2020
Just so everyone knows - and there may be some confusion on this as well on my part...
But if I understand this correctly, if Alex Smith can't pass a physical this spring, the 12M insurance policy kicks in as cap relief.
Look at those projected salary-cap numbers for the 2021 season, and those are based on what might be a conservative cap number: pic.twitter.com/Dm1Zcw8ZcP

1) teams have known he’s available for a few weeks. Nothing new tonight. 2) so far I’d say not a whole lot. Maybe a 4 bec talented and has traits. But Wants new deal and while he says he’s healthy now he’s missed a lot of games. 3) wasn’t a lot of action as of a few days ago.

Max of $2.25M in performance incentives means Brady maxes out in hitting 4 of the 5, and those require minimum of 224 pass att. On the team incentives, Brady needs to hit 75 percent play-time to get them.
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) March 21, 2020
Incentives are in both years, $4.5M/year. Which gets you to max of $59M.

With the CBA approved, the NFLPA informed players they’ll finally get their “Madden checks” that had been held in a work stoppage fund. The 2017 active player payment is $17,662 and 2018 payment is $16,966, to be paid out ASAP. $1K for p-squad guys. 2019 payments paid this fall.
