Desmond Trufant was released by the Atlanta Falcons this week after 7 years with the team. Cutting the former 2013 1st round pick saved them $5 million, and left a $10 million dead cap hit. Now he is getting interest from two NFC East teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins.
Veteran CB Desmond Trufant, released by Falcons earlier this week, drawing interest from Washington, Dallas, a few others. Most likely looking for a multi-year deal.

Kendall Fuller has agreed to a deal to come back to the Redskins for 4 years, $40 million. Fuller will likely play in the slot, possibly playing some safety like he did for the Chiefs during their Super Bowl run last season.
The Redskins released Josh Norman, so for now the starting outside CBs are Quinton Dunbar and Fabian Moreau. Dunbar has been making noise about wanting a new deal or a trade or his release as he enters the final year of his 3-year extension.
