The new Collective Bargaining Agreement(CBA) has been approved by the players. The salary cap has officially been set at $198.2 million for the 2020 season. The deadline to use the franchise tag players is tomorrow at 11:59:59 am(Brandon Scherff was tagged by the Redskins yesterday). The NFL’s legal tampering period starts tomorrow at 12 pm. The new league year starts on Wednesday, March 18th at 4pm(if the coronavirus doesn’t push that back). Deals are being reported today following the news of the CBA approval and the official the salary cap.

Here are the deals and trades that have already been announced around the NFL today. Will the Redskins make any moves before free agency?

The Baltimore Ravens sent a 2020 5th round pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars for 33-year old DE Calais Campbell. They immediately signed him to a new 2-year, $27 million deal.

The Indianapolis Colts signed LT Anthony Costanzo to a 2-year, $33 million extension making him the highest-paid left tackle in the NFL.

The Tennessee Titans signed QB Ryan Tannehill to a 4-year, $118 million contract extension.

The Houston Texans sign CB Bradley Roby to a 3-year, $36 million contract extension.

The Atlanta Falcons sign DT Tyeler Davison to a 3-year, $12 million contract extension.

The New England Patriots sign S Devin McCourty to a 2-year, $23 million contract extension.

The Green Bay Packers signed free agent LB Christian Kirksey to a 2-year, $16 million contract.
