All atwitter will be posted at the beginning of every day (at midnight in Washington, DC). The goal is to give readers a handy spot to check the Redskins beat writers & bloggers, and national sports journalists to keep up on the latest news about the Redskins, the NFL, and sports in general, along with a smattering of other things.

From NFL Now on @nflnetwork: We’re more than a week removed from the #Redskins giving Trent Williams permission to seek a trade and there’s no indication a deal is close. Among the road blocks is the Skins‘ compensation request. pic.twitter.com/eYMzLZZi5c
— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) March 13, 2020
So if no one is willing to give up a two. Why would team Williams think they are gonna get 20 mil a yr. sound like what the skins owe him is what he’s worth especially playing 7 games a year
— nilton (@nilton21181102) March 13, 2020
Skins will hold firm. Only way that changes is if Dan Snyder or Ron Rivera just want it over with come the draft. No indication that’s the case. But otherwise they will tell him : you’re under contract; report. And then perhaps try to trade again before the deadline. https://t.co/u9leRQXqb1
— John Keim (@john_keim) March 13, 2020
Wouldn’t assume. But it’s not about him playing. ...No one has ever sat out two years in a row like that. If he doesn’t he’ll just hurt himself. Decreases contract value. If he has 4-5 more really good years possibly HOF. This disrupts. Also think would be traded by deadline.

KELVIN HARMON THREAD:
— Nick Akridge (@PFF_NickAkridge) March 12, 2020
The concern with him going into the draft was if he can separate enough to win in the NFL. His catching ability has always been his best trait.
His 57.9% contested catch rate was 6th best in the NFL and he was 1 of 4 WRs with 0 drops on at least 40 targets pic.twitter.com/FfpUD7GAlE
Just imagine for a sec an offensive line-up for the Redskins of:
— Mark Tyler(Hogs Haven) (@Tiller56) March 13, 2020
WR - McLaurin
WR(FA) - Cooper/Anderson/Funchess
Slot - Sims Jr.
TE(FA) - Hooper
TE(Draft) - Trautman/Kmet
RB - Guice/Love
*everyone listed can beat single coverage
Who you gonna double team???
Rob Ryan had plenty to say about Dwayne Haskins

There's not a whole lot going on today so here's a Film Room on Jedrick Wills and Tristan Wirfs.https://t.co/aZGZIZJ88v
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) March 12, 2020
So now we have the answer; Jedrick Wills is the best offensive lineman in the 2020 draft. https://t.co/eymVsf0bhn
— Bill-in-Bangkok (@billhorgan2005) March 13, 2020
Absolutely love Thomas. He's my OT2. Exceptional length + disciplined hand placement + tons of power = really great pass protector. His feet are just okay (not in terms of technique, but in terms of quickness), but it's definitely enough.
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) March 13, 2020
Better version of Orlando Brown. https://t.co/4pTH65K2OU
... Assuming that the NCAA would make changes in the equivalency and scholarship count in their sports. We still have kids that are coming in. I'd certainly be in favor of it, not knowing all the nuances of it."

NFL has cancelled all college player visits either to the facility or to the school, per source. Only online communication, indefinitely.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 13, 2020
Here’s the NFL memo that just went out prohibiting all visits. pic.twitter.com/cZ2QB7hqgW
— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) March 13, 2020
Skins (and other teams) had already done this on their own. Now all must follow suit. Told that Dan Snyder was adamant he wanted to take this precaution regardless of what NFL did. Most Skins employees now working from home. https://t.co/vd5JngjxbP

To my knowledge, the official franchise & transition tag amounts have not been released due to the lack of a salary cap release, which in turn is due to the uncertainty about the proposed CBA.
— Nick Korte (@nickkorte) March 13, 2020
OTC projects the safety tag for now at $12.735M.https://t.co/Oji3IWKL8C https://t.co/iZCqUjaLQZ
The #Jaguars have officially placed their franchise tag on edge defender Yannick Ngakoue.
— Next Gen Stats (@NextGenStats) March 13, 2020
Since 2016, Ngakoue has created 211 QB pressures, tied for 3rd-most in the NFL that span. https://t.co/uXeXky1jRR pic.twitter.com/y2huU0EEny
Sources: The #Chargers have franchise tagged TE Hunter Henry, keeping a key playmaker in the fold for another year.

Vikings officially released DT Linval Joseph and CB Xavier Rhodes.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 13, 2020
Releasing two stalwarts of Minnesota's defense saves the #Vikings over $18.5 million in 2020 cap space (and $22.25M in cash). Pay cuts were discussed. Door open if market doesn't shake out better elsewhere. https://t.co/XuVdc06ZBW
— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) March 13, 2020
The #Vikings are also releasing TE David Morgan, source said.
— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) March 13, 2020
Source: The #Lions are releasing RT Rick Wagner, who was set to make $9M in 2020. A former free agent signing, as Detroit clears some space.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 13, 2020
#broncos S @PhillyWill11 was on @gmfb and our crew fell in love with him. They’re not alone. Teams around the league want him and badly. I know there are a bunch of teams that love his versatility, leadership, toughness, IQ, and impact he makes on the community. Desired addition
— James Palmer (@JamesPalmerTV) March 13, 2020
Bengals releasing OT Cordy Glenn today, per source. Team looked to trade him but instead will wind up releasing him.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 13, 2020
Stuff’s actually happening in the NFL today:
— Hogs Haven (@HogsHaven) March 13, 2020
-Cordy Glenn cut from the Bengals
-Xavier Rhodes cut from the Vikings
-Bills re-signed Quinton Spain for 3 yrs/ $15M
First two could be cheap one-year options for Redskins at positions of need. Spain contract good re: Flowers’ price
Ravens designated OLB Matthew Judon as their 2020 franchise player. Notice the OLB tag - player won’t be happy about that.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 13, 2020
Titans released veteran TE Delanie Walker and kicker Ryan Succop.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 13, 2020
Former #Browns LB Christian Kirksey’s free agent tour continues, as he’s visiting the #Bills today. He’s previously been at the #Raiders and #Packers, with others interested as well.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 13, 2020
The #broncos have officially exercised the 2020 options on Von Miller, K Brandon McManus and LB Todd Davis per source. No surprise. The plan was always to pick these up.

— ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) March 13, 2020
Hmm. Redskins need linebacking help. Thomas Davis a longtime Panther. He’s also 36, but played 82% of the Chargers’ defensive snaps last year https://t.co/vBzkwwOJta
— Matthew Paras (@Matthew_Paras) March 13, 2020
I don't really care one way or another about signing Bradberry but it is cool that the Redskins might have a full dance card in free agency again. https://t.co/qxf4YKZfhu
— Joel Espenshade (@JoelEspenshade) March 13, 2020
I'll say it again: we needed interior defensive line, edge rusher, and off ball linebacker designations in the next CBA so that we can limit these disputes. https://t.co/UnXbzoWmiR

Actually I would disagree. Everyone is panicking and there’s literally no sports to watch. I imagine people would want to be distracted from this bad situation.
— Sport Ops (@SportOperations) March 14, 2020
Correct-not to mention that it is essential for teams to have their own doctors give them a physical. The sillier idea of a player doing a contract with contingencies of passing physical at a later date is ridiculous and bad business for both sides. https://t.co/GIOjJCl9MP

My guess is that Tee Higgins' somewhat disappointing testing numbers at his pro day (4.58/4.59 - 31" vertical jump / 4.53 short shuttle) might push him out of the first round. The 10-yard split at 1.66 is way below the desired normal at receiver.
— Lance Zierlein (@LanceZierlein) March 13, 2020
Let me make one thing clear Higgins. He's a good football player. My tweet abt his workout was in regards to where he might be drafted. I didn't think he was fast, but 10-yd split is disappointing. He's long so the vert doesn't bother me for 50/50s. Needs to get off press. Top 45
— Lance Zierlein (@LanceZierlein) March 13, 2020
Trainers: If you run your athletes through a pro day and film it, get it to me. I will post it on the site and my YouTube. If scouts cannot get to the pro days, we will get the pro days to the scouts! #TeamDiamond

--High: DEN/LAC/PHI/MIN/ATL/LAR/SEA

--Low: NYJ/CIN/PIT/IND/WAS/CHI/DET/ARI

— Habits. Have a desk. Set a schedule.
— Community, even if virtual. Call. Text. FaceTime. Stay connected to people.
— Exercise. For your body, mind, soul.
