There is a lot of talk about LSU star quarterback Joe Burrow refusing to play for the Bengals if drafted there. Personally, I think this is a really bad look(if indeed true), but it could set up some really fun scenarios for the Redskins who hold the second overall pick if a shake-up occurs.
In this pre-combine mock draft, I will take a look at a possible scenario that has the Bengals passing on Joe Burrow and taking Chase Young number one overall.
2020 Top 10:
Pick 1(Bengals): Chase Young EDGE Ohio St.
Pick 2(Redskins): TRADE with Raiders
- Redskins trade pick number two overall in exchange for Pick 12, 19 and 80 in 2020 and 2021 first round pick
Raiders: Joe Burrow QB LSU
Pick 3(Lions): Jeff Okudah CB Ohio St.
Pick 4(Giants): Andrew Thomas OT Georgia
Pick 5(Dolphins): Tua Tagovailoa QB Alabama
Pick 6(Chargers): Justin Herbert QB Oregon
Pick 7(Panthers): Derrick Brown DT Auburn
Pick 8(Cardinals): Jerry Jeudy WR Alabama
Pick 9(Jaguars): Isaiah Simmons OLB Clemson
Pick 10(Browns): Jedrick Wills OT Alabama
Pick 11(Jets): CeeDee Lamb WR Oklahoma
Pick 12(Redskins - from Raiders): Tristan Wirfs OT Iowa
- Wirfs is a gifted athlete playing offensive tackle. He can start out on the right side(assuming the Redskins work out a deal for Trent Williams to return) and eventually become Trent’s replacement.
Redskins remaining picks through round 3:
RD 1 Pick 19(From Raiders): Grant Delpit S LSU
RD3 Pick 66: Adam Trautman TE Dayton
RD 3 Pick 80(from Raiders): K.J. Hill WR Ohio St.
