Tiffany and Allana Barefield hosted former Ohio State superstar Cornelius Green in this episode of Rile’d Up. Green is the mentor of Redskins’ quarterback Dwayne Haskins, and a Washington, D.C. native.

While at Ohio State, Green wore No. 7 like Haskins. In this episode, Green shares how Dwayne Haskins Sr., was a fan of Green and his legacy in the DMV which led to Haskins Jr. wearing the No. 7 and also being a Green fan.

Green also discussed the racial injustices he went through and barriers he broke down as a Black quarterback. He is proud of the accomplishments the Black quarterback has made into days society. However, he wants to see the same progression in positions off the field.

Chase Young, another Ohio State phenom is who he wants the Redskins to take in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

On the field, Green is optimistic in the Ron Rivera hiring, however, he hopes Rivera doesn’t run Haskins’ as much as he did the Panthers, Cam Newton. He also feels the Redskins first line of business should be feeling up those offensive holes and hopes the budding defense will come together under Jack Del Rio.

Green ends the podcast with some words of advice for Haskins.
