Steelers' RB James Conner is eligible to come off the Reserve/COVID list on Monday, but it still considered unlikely that he will play against the WFT, per sources. It's looking like another week of Benny Snell Jr.

The Giants beating Seattle on the road - with Colt McCoy at QB - is why the NFC East winner will feel like it has a chance in the playoffs at home against a team like SEA. You aren't playing the Chiefs.
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) December 7, 2020
No NFC club is above clunkers. Weird things happen.

Kudos to the Giants but man Seattle looks weak on offense..... and kinda defense
— Mark Phillips (@FballTeamReview) December 6, 2020
Not exaggerating: was that the biggest upset of the season? Giants, with a backup QB, go to Seattle and beat the Seahawks?!
— Judy Battista (@judybattista) December 7, 2020

That was Colt McCoy's first win since 2014. Good for him.

This now appears to be a benching of Carson Wentz. That doesn't mean that Jalen Hurts is the starter going forward. But Wentz benched today.

Washington Football could be a game out of the final NFC wild card spot with a win tomorrow. The NFC East isn't the only route to the postseason. Somehow.

Colts QB Philip Rivers likely needs surgery after season to repair plantar plate rupture (per @RapSheet)https://t.co/YEFMgWtORW pic.twitter.com/BLhrrzRUgO
— Around The NFL (@AroundTheNFL) December 6, 2020
Update: Rivers' injury is a plantar plate rupture. The plantar plate sits in the joint at the base of the toes, so this is a version of turf toe. Turf toe occurs when there is damage to the main joint of the big toe (which includes both ligament tears and plantar plate tears)

Might be time to pull Herbert. This game is not salvageable and I’d rather he not get hurt. Just take this one on the chin and get ready for next week.

The possibility of full stadiums in 2021, the coming TV contracts, and a desire among the teams to not be forced to cut veterans could keep the salary cap for next year in the range of $195 million https://t.co/1nsZBxIJsL

Here's how many receiving yards were gained each season by the #1 TE (red) and #2 TE (blue) in the NFL.

2020 (pro-rated) is looking to obliterate that differential, as Travis Kelce has completely dominated the field. https://t.co/0CLElje02f pic.twitter.com/x44j4Zj7Rr
And while this is a separate stat, it's worth noting that Kelce's season really is remarkable: he leads the NFL in receiving first downs, too.
