According to Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post the Washington Football Team has just signed RB Lamar Miller from the Bears’ practice squad.
The Washington Football Team is signing veteran RB Lamar Miller of Chicago's practice squad, a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed. Miller has to pass his six-day pre-entry COVID-19 testing before it can be made official.

With Antonio Gibson’s availability uncertain as he recovers from turf toe, the signing of Miller appears to be an effort to bolster the backfield of JD McKissic and Peyton Barber.
Miller will not be available this week against the Seahawks, as he will still be in the COVID-19 protocols. Through his first 7 years in the league, with the Texans and Dolphins, Miller rushed for over 800 yards in 5 straight seasons. He’s averaged 4.3 yards per carry over his career.
Miller was out of the league in 2019 due to a torn ACL and signed to the Bears’ practice squad in October 2020.
Check out some highlights! Welcome Lamar!
