The Washington Football Team ruled out 4 players for this week's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Ryan Anderson(knee), Deshazor Everett(ankle), Cornelius Lucas(ankle), and Jared Norris(hamstring) are all out Sunday.
Rivera has been asked about the possible replacements all week, and that reality is likely to put Morgan Moses at left tackle, David Sharpe at right tackle, and Troy Apke at free safety.

Tim Settle:
Rivera has seen a lot of growth from Tim Settle, who saw a lot of snaps against the Lions.
— Zach Selby (@ZachDSelby) November 20, 2020
Cam Sims:
Rivera said Cam Sims provides another threat opposite of Terry McLaurin. One of his favorite things about Alex Smith is seeing how he distributes the ball. With Sims, the offense has a complement to McLaurin.
— Zach Selby (@ZachDSelby) November 20, 2020
Troy Apke:
Rivera said he is seeing growth from Troy Apke. He's still a young player, but being on the field lately has been helpful to him.
— Zach Selby (@ZachDSelby) November 20, 2020
Ron Rivera said Troy Apke has taken advantage of getting back on the field. “You do see some growth,” he said.

Morgan Moses:
A reporter just asked if Ron Rivera could confirm Morgan Moses moving to right tackle. Rivera did not take the bait.
— Kyle Stackpole (@kylefstackpole) November 20, 2020
"David and Morgan will certainly play tackle for us." https://t.co/vu3oPudvMA
Communication:
Head coach Ron Rivera said he was "really pleased" with the communication in practice today. Team was in shells and helmets today, so there was a faster tempo compared to earlier in the week.
— Kyle Stackpole (@kylefstackpole) November 20, 2020
Kamren Curl:
Ron Rivera says that timing is the biggest thing when it comes to blitzing from the secondary. Rookie Kam Curl has been that guy the past two weeks, and he's delivered a pair of sacks.
— Kyle Stackpole (@kylefstackpole) November 20, 2020
Morgan Moses hasn't played left tackle since his rookie season in 2014, but he is ready to fill in if needed.
Morgan Moses
Left tackle:
Morgan Moses is addressing the media right now. There is a chance for Moses to play left tackle. He said he had a couple of "come to Jesus" talks before switching to from right to left. He jus took it one snap at a time.
— Zach Selby (@ZachDSelby) November 20, 2020
Pass rushers:
Moses has faced many of the same pass rushers on the right that he would on the left, so that would give him an advantage. He credits that to his film study and being ready for any circumstance.
— Zach Selby (@ZachDSelby) November 20, 2020
Alex Smith:
Moses described Alex Smith as selfless and fearless. It's rare to play with guys like Smith, he said.

Washington Football Team QB Coach Ken Zampese says Alex Smith's mobility has improved. He is very impressed with how Smith has progressed physically as he returns for a devastating injury.
Zampese has been teaching former starting QB Dwayne Haskins Jr. how to take better notes. He's not "out" on Haskins and said “There are very few who can throw the ball that way. ... Let’s not rush to judgement on anything.” but there is more to being a QB than having a big arm, and Haskins is learning that. Patience is key with Haskins.
QB Coach Ken Zampese spoke to the media about Alex's progression, what he has seen from Dwayne Haskins and more.
