Washington is still the worst on third downs in 2020, and now, they've dropped down to converting at 29%, which is what they converted at in 2019 https://t.co/gwBTD632iO

Just crunched some numbers, & @WashingtonNFL has trailed for 75% of game time this season. It has trailed by more than one score (<9 points) 52% of the time.
— Kyle Stackpole (@kylefstackpole) October 13, 2020
It's hard to judge an offense when trying to come back. It'll be interesting to see how it looks vs. an easier schedule.
This stat is impossible - Washington has now trailed at halftime by at least 10 points in 7 straight games going back to last season. Per @EliasSports, that ties an NFL record with the Brooklyn Dodgers (1942-1943) and the Chicago Cardinals (1939).

The Washington Football Team protected three practice-squad players for Sunday’s game against the Giants: TE Temarrick Hemingway, OL Ross Pierschbacher and CB Jeremy Reaves.

The Washington Football Team has/had a visit with DE Gerri Green, per the wire.
— Nicki Jhabvala (@NickiJhabvala) October 13, 2020
Green, a sixth-round pick by the Colts last year, was a team captain at Mississippi State and a starter on its D-line with Montez Sweat.
Life comes at you fast... RG Wes Schweitzer with a real nice block out in space on a screen. Pumped up, gets away with a bit of taunting. Next play, blown up on a run and ends up on the ground. pic.twitter.com/L2nLwd26cI

Last year teams got away with a TE blocking Montez Sweat on play-action. This year, not so much.

Chase Young also creates havoc. Beats Whitworth’s quick set inside, forces LG to bail off double team with C on Allen, leaving Allen 1-on-1. Also disrupts release of both FB & RB pic.twitter.com/CXOAjI7BMe
Said it during the game but this really was an outstanding play by Kendall Fuller. Passes off the deeper route as he takes the flat, but spots Goff throwing behind him and sinks back under the throw for the INT.

Nice rep by Young to prevent Goff fully stepping into throw. pic.twitter.com/Mx70UKQ05y
Example of the importance of FS here. Rams run their quick seam (Arches/F Post) concept on 3rd & 4 to Kupp. Apke misreads it, takes false step towards sideline thinking throw is outside, leaves him late to close on Kupp. Tackle should be made around the 40, gave up extra 30 yards pic.twitter.com/1eH0rJZ6f9

Toohill showed something in training camp. The assumption here is that the Eagles waived him to make room for 32 year old Vinny Curry, a short-term move for a team that shouldn’t reasonably have Super Bowl aspirations/expectations, and should be thinking long term. https://t.co/tYC1x3XU1d

An NFL source says the concept of a postseason bubble(s) is currently "not being discussed but who knows where we'll be in a couple months." Another source says hadn't "heard anything along those lines." The NFL previously had said it wasn't ruling out a postseason bubble.

From yesterday on Saints seeking to play at LSU, NFL saying it will consider Week 18 if all games can't be played in 17 weeks while playing down prospects of pausing season and playoff bubble, Roger Goodell saying Titans review isn't about discipline.... https://t.co/OjepGDLrw4

The Panthers have entered the NFL’s intensive protocol after Falcons rookie defensive tackle Marlon Davidson was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
— Carolina Panthers (@Panthers) October 14, 2020
As of Wednesday morning, Carolina has not placed a player on the reserve/COVID-19 list, making these precautionary measures.
"I know that Howie is a voice when it comes to actives (on gameday). I don't know how much of a voice, but Howie is definitely a factor when it comes to that decision." - @Jeff_McLane on players like Greg Ward waiting behind Hollins last season and now Travis Fulgham this season
