Ron Rivera really believes in family and taking care of his guys. He has already reportedly hired WR coach Jim Hostler, OL Coach John Matsko, and Head Athletic Trainer Ryan Vermillion from his former Panthers staff. He has also interviewed QB Coach Scott Turner for the Redskins OC job, and DL/Game Management Coach Sam Mills III.
The latest reported hiring from the Panthers is LB Coach Steve Russ. He was a LB for the Denver Broncos from 1997-2000, and then played for the Los Angeles Xtreme in 2001. He has been a coach since then. He joined Rivera's staff in 2018 as a LB coach.
