Ron Rivera has only officially hired one coach since officially becoming the Washington Redskins head coach this week. Jack Del Rio is the Redskins newest defensive coordinator and Nate Kaczor will reportedly stay as the team's special teams coordinator.
Rivera fired the defensive staff and most of the offensive coaches. Offensive Coordinator Kevin O'Connell is being interviewed, but Panthers OC Scott Turner was interviewed for the job yesterday.
We're getting new reports that Rivera has hired several coaches he worked with from the Panthers. OL Coach John Masko will take over for Bill Callahan/Phil Rauscher. WR Coach Jim Hostler will take over for Ike Hilliard. The Redskins fired Head Athletic Trainer Larry Hess and interviewed Panthers Head Trainer Ryan Vermillion who has now reportedly been hired. Panthers DL/Game Management Coach Sam Mills III is also reportedly interviewing for a similar position with the Redskins.
This still leaves a lot of positions open with the big one being Offensive Coordinator. How many more coaches does Rivera bring with him from Carolina?
Panthers DL/game mgmt coach Sam Mills III also scheduled to interview with Redskins, per source.

And wouldn't be surprised to see several other Panthers assistants join him.
Panthers longtime trainer Ryan Vermillion also headed to Washington, per sources.

Another important addition for the #Redskins: Sources say they’re hiring longtime NFL head athletic trainer Ryan Vermillion, who spent the past 18 years with the #Panthers and knows Ron Rivera well. First call to Trent Williams?
