The rumors have been floating that new head coach Ron Rivera would bring in Jack Del Rio to run the defense here in Washington.
It’s now being confirmed by Adam Schefter that this is indeed the case.
New Washington HC Ron Rivera has hired former Raiders’ and Jaguars’ HC Jack Del Rio as the Redskins’ new defensive coordinator, per source. Rivera’s first big coaching hire in Washington.

It’s expected that Del Rio will bring back the 4-3 defense; something Redskins fans have been begging for now for a decade.
