Can confirm the Derrius Guice injury is to the meniscus. Timeline is still up in the air. One belief is could be back by next Monday if things go well. Another source says could be up to four weeks. #Redskins

UPDATE
From The Aftermath: The #Redskins may watch RB Derrius Guice miss more time with a knee injury, this time the other knee... which means Adrian Peterson should be back. pic.twitter.com/KR6VMQHFev

Derrius Guice is injured again. Adrian Peterson was a healthy scratch and he’s not happy along with some veterans who are making that known. Now Peterson will have to be the feature back until Guice returns to the field.
Guice only had 10 carries for 18 yards in his regular season debut for the Redskins. He didn’t seem hurt, but he did make a trip to the medical tent that he called a bathroom run. Chris Thompson had the majority of the snaps late in the game.
Confirmed that he did hurt his knee. Not sure at this point how long he’ll miss. https://t.co/1nkxmvxzJ6

The knee currently receiving an MRI is the same knee Derrius Guice injured in college. The ACL knee was the healthier knee. https://t.co/n2pbLGOST0

Guice didn’t chat long with reporters after yesterday’s game. His first comment: “I’m just happy to leave the game healthy. That’s the main thing.”

Dude can’t catch a break.
Other Redskins players knew Guice hurt the knee, Ive been told. The question now is how long he'll be out.

Stem Cell Therapy?
Sources tell me that Derrius Guice might get stem cell therapy on his knee. Could help avoid surgery. Remember that Guice wasn’t cleared for full contact until mid August.
