Week one is officially in the books. Rookie wide receiver Terry McLaurin was one of the lone bright spots for the Redskins, and his regular season debut officially earned him the nickname “Scary Terry.”
Other than Vernon Davis’ emotional touchdown in the first quarter –which was totally awesome– there weren’t many other positives to go on this week.
In classic Jay Gruden form, the game was a tale of two halves. On this week’s edition of the Pig Pen Podcast, I share my thoughts on the continuation of that annoying trend, and how Gruden’s decision not to play Adrian Peterson wasn’t worth it and the importance of Jon Allen on defense.
