The 5 O’Clock Club: Projecting NFC East wins & losses for the first quarter of the 2019 regular season

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere…

The 5 o’clock club is published Wednesday to Saturday during the season, and aims to provide a forum for reader-driven discussion at a time of day when there isn’t much NFL news being published. Feel free to introduce topics that interest you in the comments below.

There will be four inter-divisional games in the first four weeks of the season. The Redskins are the only team in the division that will play all three of the others in the first quarter. That gives Washington the opportunity to get out to a big lead... or fall into a huge hole.

I have projected the first quarter below.

I’m projecting the Eagles to take the early lead, with the Giants falling into last place quickly.
