The Redskins are relatively healthy heading into their Week 1 matchup agaisnt the Eagles in Philadelphia. Only two players did not participate in today's practice and both have pretty much been ruled out for Sunday's game. Jay Gruden said today that QB Colt McCoy is going to see another doctor as he continues to rehab his broken leg from last year. CB Fabian Moreau has been in a cast for his ankle injury, and Gruden said it would be a long shot that he plays.
Three players were listed as limited. Jordan Reed and Cassanova suffered concussions over the last two weeks of the preseason. McKinzy has been practicing and is likely to be cleared this week. Reed just practiced for the first time today, and Gruden was more reserved about his availability for Sunday's game. Reed has had at least 7 concussions dating back to college.
Caleb Brantley was also limited with a foot injury that Geuden described as a "slight Lisfranc" weeks ago. The Redskins added former Eagles DT Treyvon Hester this week and he could be insurance in case Brantley isn't fully ready. Tim Settle had been dealing with a knee injury, but he was not even listed on today's report.
The final two players listed were full participants in practice. Shaun Dion Hamilton has been dealing with a chest injury for the last few weeks. He is expected at start vs the Eagles. Paul Richardson Jr. has also been dealing with his quad injury for weeks, but is expected to be on the field Sunday.
Several players like Settle, Cole Holcomb (AC joint), and Terry McLaurin (tailbone), who have been nursing injuries in camp/preseason, weren't listed .
