The Hogs Night: A Porkcast crew was watching live as the Redskins closed out their 2019 pre-season schedule against the Baltimore Ravens. There was a winner, there was a loser, but none of that was terribly important. On this week’s edition, we dove right into the biggest NFL story of the week: the abrupt retirement of Andrew Luck; and the biggest Redskins story of the offeseason: the Redskins vs. Trent Williams and the impact that both stories have on the burgundy and gold as the season gets set.
We closed out the evening with the full quota of fantasy football predictions for the season (we promise) with a Hail Yeah!/ Hail Naw! to see if our prognostications are more optimistic or pessimistic than the folks at Yahoo sports are about the Redskins this year. In addition, we had a few non-fantasy forecasts about how many games Case Keenum will start this season, will Trey Quinn be the team’s leading receiver, just how big is Tress Way’s leg, and is there still some tread left on Jordan Reed’s tires? We also set the over-under on Josh Doctson’s receptions at .5 and managed to not screw that one up just hours before his tenure in Washington came to a close.
