Case Keenum had a disastrous game last week, with 3 interceptions and two fumbles. He started off this week’s game against the Giants with an interception off a tipped pass on a ball that shouldn’t have been thrown. He also overthrew Trey Quinn on two plays that could have gone for 6. After Giants rookie QB Daniel Jones threw his second interception of the day, Jay Gruden pulled Keenum and put Dwayne Haskins Jr. into the game.
This is Haskins first regular season game, and he was able to drive the ball down to the Giants 3 yard line. The Redskins had to settle for a field goal when Haskins missed Vernon Davis. Haskins did bring a little bit of a spark to a game that was looking pretty grim before Jones made Dunbar his favorite receiver. Haskins has 2 more quarters to bring the Redskins back from a 17-3 deficit.

Haskins on 3rd and 6 throws to Trey Quinn in the flat. Ball is behind it#s target, Quinn makes a nice adjustment and just about picks up the first down #Redskins pic.twitter.com/X1e6iKHKsw

Of course, #Redskins dial up a mesh concept for Haskins in the red zone, his favorite concept in college. Haskins takes off running and picks up the first down. pic.twitter.com/M5Wa7eHAFk

Haskins had Davis on the out for a TD, but threw high and wide. #Redskins settle for a FG pic.twitter.com/YsEVewi8yM
