The Redskins ruled 2 players out for today’s game against the New York Giants on Friday, Jordan Reed(concussion) and Chase Roullier(knee). Only two other players were listed as questionable. LG Brandon Scherff(ankle) and WR Terry McLaurin(hamstring) are both now out for today’s game which is a big loss for the Redskins offense. Rookie OLs Wes Martin and Ross Pierschbacher will both be active for their first games of the year. Martin will get the start at RG for Scherff. Tony Bergstrom will start at center for Roullier. Robert Davis will be active, but Kelvin Harmon is listed as the replacement at starter for McLaurin.
The other three inactives are QB Colt McCoy, CB Aaron Colvin, and OLB Cassanova McKinzy. McCoy is still reportedly a week or two off from a full return. There are reports of a possible QB change if Keenum struggles again this week with turnovers. Rookie Dwayne Haskins Jr. will get his shot this week if a change is made. Next week? Who knows where Gruden will turn.
