The Hogs Night: A Porkcast crew is joined by our very first call-in guest, and a fitting one at that: Ken Meringolo joins in with a very special announcement. While the fans are generally hopeless to influence meaningful change, that doesn’t mean that we can’t look into some things, turn over stones, and see what scuttles out underneath in the hopes that maybe something, someday things will change.
On this episode, we have a candid chat about the big picture stuff: where we are, how we got here, and what can be done about it. Ken shares his reflections on his tenure both at Hogs Haven and as a Redskins fan as a whole. It feels very early to be “in evaluation mode” (as Mike Shanahan once put it before winning seven straight games to make the playoffs) but there’s no doubt about it, the winds of change are a-blowin’.
A big thanks to Ken for joining us on the show, in truth our show and indeed our entire podcast channel wouldn’t exist without his guidance and mentorship!
While we eagerly await a true rock bottom, Ken has some optimism that things can change as he launches an official impeachment inquiry into Dan Snyder.
