The Daily Twitter will be posted at the beginning of every day (at midnight in Washington, DC). The goal is to give readers a handy spot to check the Redskins beat writers & bloggers, and national sports journalists to keep up on the latest news about the Redskins, the NFL, and sports in general, along with a smattering of other things.

We go from circling games, to the realization that when other teams are looking at their schedule, they’re highlighting us

Maybe it will be Case Keenum starting at quarterback on Sunday...or Dwayne Haskins...or Colt McCoy... https://t.co/tzWTySC4AD
— Les Carpenter (@Lescarpenter) September 26, 2019
Even assuming Case Keenum plays, who is up Sunday as the No. 2 quarterback is a big, and potentially telling, decision for Gruden.
— michael phillips (@michaelpRTD) September 25, 2019
Yep, but that door is now wide open for an in-game switch. https://t.co/uLP4ExH2GK
— Chick Hernandez (@MrChickSports) September 25, 2019
Basically - I get the sense that the #Redskins players would be confident in Haskins if he played. They know how talented he is.
— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) September 25, 2019
However I still go back to the schedule thing. I think the staff really wants to wait a few weeks. It's better for Dwayne. /fin

Appreciated. I also sensed that lack of interest.
— michael phillips (@michaelpRTD) September 25, 2019
Jay Gruden said he assumes Keenum will play. Will know more Thursday. As of now Haskins would be next man up— but that depends on where McCoy is with his leg and their confidence in Haskins and their game plan.
— John Keim (@john_keim) September 25, 2019
Gruden said right now that Haskins would start Sunday if Keenum can’t play. Colt McCoy did participate in Wednesday’s walkthrough
— Les Carpenter (@Lescarpenter) September 25, 2019
Gruden says he assumes Case will be able to play. If he can’t, Dwayne Haskins is the backup. Though Colt McCoy participated in the walkthrough today, he did not throw
— Matthew Paras (@Matthew_Paras) September 25, 2019
Gruden says they are being protective of Keenum. We’ll see tomorrow exactly what that means. Protective could mean this is precautionary. They could also be hiding how hurt he is.
— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) September 25, 2019
The multiple reports that say he’s fine seem to say he’s telling the truth, but Jay was cautious.
I talked to one #Redskins player who said Haskins would make some plays if he got the chance to play, but he has no idea how DH7 is in the meeting rooms and all.
— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) September 25, 2019
"It's about being a pro. That's football. Mental reps are everything."
He'd be mad if they took reps from Case.
per period, not the whole practice. Also limits in how long they can practice per the CBA

Gruden on the #Redskins 0-3 start: "Tougher things have been done in the world than coming back from an 0-3 start."

Rushing Colt McCoy back from an injury for a game in New York? Been there, done that.https://t.co/DX2HzZ068p
— michael phillips (@michaelpRTD) September 25, 2019
With Roullier and Scherff out today, Gruden hopes "at least one" of his interior lineman will be good to go Sunday. Says Ross Pierschbacher would fill in at center with Wes Martin sliding in at guard if the situation arises.
— Ryan Fowler (@FowlerRyan1) September 25, 2019
Brandon Scherff walked out of the locker room with a boot in hand. He was walking around sans it on his ankle, however

#Redskins sign TE Jerome Cunningham. Roster back at 53. Cut TY McGill yesterday.

U see this often with McLaurin: the ability to create separation at the top. Sells the speed. Pressure forced Keenum to throw early to CT but this is why McLaurin keeps getting open. Now, back to your (legit) complaints pic.twitter.com/rFGTRQsAEO

Landon Collins has rushed the passer a total of 0 times, so yes he has 0 sacks [the penalty on this play was his only one on the year]
— Nick Akridge (@PFF_NickAkridge) September 25, 2019
He has 8 interceptions and 3 forced fumbles in his career so not shocking he hasn't had one in the first 3 games of the year. https://t.co/uYwS5lrHiA
Josh Norman was asked about fan morale being low after the 0-3 start.

I’m so tired of hearing how #Redskins fans have quit on the team/players. It might be the other way around. Seriously, I’m amazed the fans have supported the losing, coaching changes, and other gaffes for as long as they have. If you’re 35 or under all you know is consistent L’s.

@BurgundyBlog Amazing stuff: Preston Smith wins DPOW. HHCD was the runner up. Breeland and Kendall Fuller are the highest rated CB duo in the NFL according to PFF. Unreal.
— JL (@jlevin418) September 25, 2019
Per @pff.... “Through Week 2, only 2 teams have multiple CBs with 70.0 or higher overall grades & 90+ snaps played.
— Redskins Realm (@SkinsRealm) September 23, 2019
Those teams are the Patriots (Jonathan Jones, Jason McCourty, & Stephon Gilmore) and the Chiefs (Bashaud Breeland & Kendall Fuller).”
