The Daily Twitter will be posted at the beginning of every day (at midnight in Washington, DC). The goal is to give readers a handy spot to check the Redskins beat writers & bloggers, and national sports journalists to keep up on the latest news about the Redskins, the NFL, and sports in general, along with a smattering of other things.

Sounds about right. From earlier this week: "Until (Jordan) Reed (concussion) participates in a full practice, do not assume he makes his season debut against Chicago or anytime soon." https://t.co/EQa7P0u5Mg https://t.co/0RGGgt96mH
— Ben Standig (@BenStandig) September 21, 2019
Wouldn’t call those rumors. Would call them people speculating on what they think should happen and why.
— John Keim (@john_keim) September 20, 2019
Have had a few of these. Simple: a week before the opener there was some optimism he’d play. Four days before Dallas game strong optimism. Not a linear injury so hard to know. Now? Who knows when... https://t.co/4Vlpoivuiv
— John Keim (@john_keim) September 21, 2019
I don’t know when Jordan Reed will return. I do know it’s not good when he tries to practice and two weeks in a row his week ends early and he can’t play. Does not fit scenario of someone coming back soon. With concussions, just don’t know. No more speculation. Unpredictable.
— John Keim (@john_keim) September 21, 2019
I hope we get to see a fully healthy Jordan Reed back on the field again soon. The guy is so fun to watch and does so much for an offense.
— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) September 21, 2019
That being said I’d fully understand him considering retirement given the number of injuries, especially concussions, that he’s suffered https://t.co/0EUQFtPZ7g
It’s pure speculation to know how #Redskins TE Jordan Reed is feeling, but it’s obvious serious in-house discussions about his playing career need to be had if they haven’t already.
— Lake Lewis Jr (@LakeLewis) September 21, 2019
For reference, this is what the back side corner is actually supposed to be doing. Same jump call, executed last week by Green Bay. Jaire Alexander recognized he needed to rotate, so he did.
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) September 21, 2019
ALMOST got there, but it was a perfect throw by Cousins to beat it anyway. pic.twitter.com/FOvsC5egT8
Jonathan Allen said he’s definitely playing Monday. Said he dropped about 8 pounds, now at 287. Thinks playing lighter will help with the bad knee. Won’t be 100 percent, but good to go. Was kind of surprised how good he felt. #redskins https://t.co/IONR7phUx2

Ryan Kerrigan on Trent: "I'm obviously still holding out hope he comes back - not just for the way he plays, but the presence he is in the locker room."
— michael phillips (@michaelpRTD) September 20, 2019
Brandon Scherff on holding calls across the NFL: "Some of those calls we had last week I don't think would have been called last year." Said it's their job to figure out the new rules and play within them.

Here was the infraction. A second offense this season would cost $42,115. https://t.co/YRdy9ZKMpX pic.twitter.com/FqTIOGCIUF

After a week of speculation, the #Jaguars currently have no deal in the works to trade star CB Jalen Ramsey, and one source said the longer this goes on, the more likely it is he stays. Meanwhile, Ramsey’s trade request still stands. The wait for clarity continues.

From @KimJonesSports on @gmfb just now: Tom Coughlin texted Eli Manning this week to see how his former QB was doing.

Think about this.... a team that made it work with Josh Gordon just cut Antonio Brown..... after 11 days
— Mark Phillips (@RedskinsReview) September 20, 2019
Yeah and of course, they already tried fairly hard to trade for him & now his $$ is significantly reduced. A Bruce Allen special. https://t.co/ilijxa1Zzi

I hate everything about the Patriots and their fans ✌️
— AB (@ab89) September 20, 2019
I wonder if Antonio Brown had cameras rolling for his release from the Patriots as he did for his release from the Raiders. No, that’s not snark.
— Andrew Siciliano (@AndrewSiciliano) September 20, 2019
.@TomPelissero talked to one of the teams rumored to have interest in AB when he was first released from the #Raiders.

Well, my “Mitch Trubisky is making rookie mistakes” video was just blocked on YouTube.
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) September 21, 2019
Naturally I can only assume that this was orchestrated by the ultra powerful pro-Trubisky cabal that is secretly running the world.

If Gardner dressed like Susan Sarandon, they’d be mocking him too.

Umpire Joe West blew 16 calls on the night, but none were worse or more significant than this one to Brett Gardner. It missed the zone by 5.23 inches. #Yankees v #BlueJays pic.twitter.com/lJfMyKh4is
