The Redskins have moved on from TE Donald Parham Jr. for the second time this year. The 6'8" rookie got people excited by his size and potential, hasn't been able to make an impact in the NFL yet.
He is being replaced on the practice squad by TE Drew Belcher, an undrafted free agent from Maine. He was signed by the Arizona Cardinals, but did not make their roster this year. Belcher(6'3", 250 lbs) is a former dual-threat QB who converted to TE in college.
The Redskins only had two TEs on the active roster on Sunday against the Cowboys. Jordan Reed is still not cleared from the NFL's concussion protocol, and J.P. Holtz was claimed by the Bears after his release last week.
