The Redskins defense didn’t force a turnover last week vs the Eagles, but were able to get one early vs the Cowboys. Dallas needed one yard to convert a 3rd down in their own territory. Daron Payne came charging in, but just missed the sack on Dak. Prescott tossed the ball to Randall Cobb who failed at the most important job a wide receiver has, catching the ball. Montae Nicholson was in the right place at the right time, and picked the ball off. He returned the ball 23 yards.
INT by Montae Nicholson all started up front with Daron Payne. Beat the LG in a hurry, should have had a sack by Dak eluded him. Throw was behind Cobb, who ended up tipping it up for Nicholson. #Redskins pic.twitter.com/J8gcJb2deY

Montae Nicholson is Johnny-on-the-spot for the tipped pass, and then gets a nice return to setup the #Redskins offense with a short field. pic.twitter.com/qi0oZQAyRz
