The Redskins ruled out five players on Friday due to injury[Colt McCoy(fibula), Jordan Reed(concussion), Jonathan Allen(MCL), Derrius Guice(meniscus), and Caleb Brantley(foot)]. Guice and Brantley were then placed on injured reserve. That left 4 players that needed to be inactive today.
Fabian Moreau was listed as doubtful with an ankle injury he has been dealing with for the last month. Quinton Dunbar's knee swelled up in practice on Wednesday. Both of them will be inactive today. That will make Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie the starter on the outside with Josh Norman. Jimmy Moreland will man the slot again, and newly signed CB Aaron Colvin will be active today. Simeon Thomas was signed off the Seahawk's practice squad this week and he will take Greg Stroman's(released/injured) spot on special teams.
The other two inactives come from the offensive and line. The Redskins are sitting both of their rookie OLs. Ross Pierschbacher is at the bottom of the depth chart, but Wes Martin has been fighting for the starting LG spot with Ereck Flowers all summer.
