The Comeback Kid is back on the Redskins active roster! Robert Davis is being re-signed by the Redskins after being released last week and then signed to the practice squad. Davis came back from a significant leg/knee injury that could have ended his career. He was impressive in the preseason, but became a casualty of the numbers game after initially making the Redskins roster.
The Redskins only carried 5 WRs on their roster for last week's season opener against the Eagles. The Redskins still have more moves to make. Jay Gruden said there is a possibility Derrius Guice(knee) and Colt McCoy(fibula) could be headed to injured reserve.
The Redskins are also short at tight end with Jordan Reed missing his 2nd straight game, and J.P. Holtz getting claimed on waivers before they could re-sign him to their practice squad. Rookie TE Donald Parham Jr. was just signed to the practice squad, and he could be called up if the Redskins can't find a better option elsewhere.

Cornerback Deion Harris is being signed to the practice squad to fill Davis's spot. The Redskins are also hurting at CB. Quinton Dunbar's knee swelled up at practice on Wednesday and he is questionable vs the Cowboys. Fabian Moreau is still dealing with an ankle injury. He was at practice this week, but he is still doubtful Sunday.
The Redskins added cornerback Deion Harris to their practice squad. He was with them in training camp.
