Redskins DL Jonathan Allen reportedly has a grade 1 MCL sprain, and could miss 1-2 weeks. He had an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the damage to his knee. Allen was injured at the end of the first quarter on Sunday.
Yep. Was told a grade 1 sprain. Feeling is could miss a week or two...Allen was telling people Monday he was OK (also what they expected him to say). https://t.co/D9Cb2Sxk5U

The Redskins worked out several DL today, and signed T.Y. McGill. Caleb Brantley reaggravated his foot on Sunday and was reportedly in a boot. The Redskins need bodies for the DL until Allen and Brantley return.
Here was the injury to Jon Allen. Short yardage QB sneak, Allen knew it was coming, incredibly low stance. Watch his lower half. Attempts to go to one knee to withstand double team, but left foot gets stuck in the turf. as a blocker falls forward. pic.twitter.com/bA2WOLT49Q
