Derrius Guice:
Gruden on Guice - It was great work for him and something that he needed

Gruden said he was impressed with Guice. Would’ve loved to see him get into the open field and show his speed, but he like the physicality and everything else he saw.

Guice: “You tend to take things for granted. When football was taken away from me, I felt like I was lost...it was kinda like a slap in the face happening in the first game. I feel like it was a sign from God to slow down...we always take things for granted. It matured me a lot.”

Derrius Guice said he found out he was cleared to play last week. He thought he was playing Week 1 of the preseason, and it wasn’t until just before the game that he found out from the team doctor he actually hadn’t been cleared. Said he was pissed initially #HTTR

Takes complete blame for the turnover. Just doing too much. Thought they did well overall. Moved the ball. Just need to finish the drives.
