There has been a lot of recent chatter revolving around former-first-round-draft-pick-turned-bust Josh Doctson, and most of it has not been positive. The last time we heard from Doctson before training camp started, he was telling beat reporters he had “nothing to prove to nobody”. Now, in reality, we know he has EVERYTHING to prove to about everybody tied to the Redskins, so as you can imagine, that comment didn’t sit too well with fans.
And now we have this little nugget from RosterWatch:
.@JPFinlayNBCS tells us that the #Redskins have been trying to trade Josh Doctson for the last two years. Says Richardson, Quinn, McLaurin and maybe even Cam Sims are all ahead of him on the depth chart. "It wouldn't shock me if he gets released."

Here is what Finlay had to say via his Twitter account:
I’ve said this at least 5 times on my podcast. If you’re not listening you should be https://t.co/TZcIFKmWxs

Now, I know MANY Redskins fans wouldn’t be shocked if Doctson is traded before the season starts, but an outright cut?
If this is indeed true(and it seems like it’s very possible), that Doctson is behind Richardson, Quinn, McLaurin, and even Sims on the depth chart, would it surprise you if the Redskins release him?
