The preseason moves on to Week 2 and there will be a Redskins home game tomorrow night! Washington hosts the Cincinnati Bengals at FedEx Field.
The Redskins will likely be missing Colt McCoy again this week as he continues his recovery from last year’s broken leg. Case Keenum will get the start again, with Dwayne Haskins taking the #2 spot on the QB depth chart for the 2nd week in a row. The Redskins lost their 4th QB(Josh Woodrum) last week when he suffered a torn pec. Washington signed Jalan McClendon, but he probably won’t be thrown in unless something happens to Keenum and Haskins.
Derrius Guice has also not been fully cleared, and will likely miss this week’s game as he returns from ACL surgery last year. Adrian Peterson sat last week, and the vet isn’t expected to play tomorrow either.
What we will see is the team’s depth, and we’ll get a look at the young players on the roster fighting for a spot. The depth on the offensive line has been...not good. There is a logjam at wide receiver, and a lot of young inexperienced players
