The Redskins are flying Donald Penn in tomorrow to sign a 1-year deal. They also signed LT Corey Robinson last week, and were working on bringing in Penn too. Penn, a 3-time Pro Bowler wanted more money, but the terms of the contract have not been released yet.
Veteran offensive tackle Donald Penn is flying to Washington DC today to sign a 1-year deal with the #Redskins tomorrow, sources say. Key veteran help given Trent Williams’ likely lengthy holdout.

Trent Williams continues his holdout this week, and it is expected to be a long and complicated negotiations process to get him back to the team this year. There are reportedly issues with the team's medical staff, and also rumors that a new deal will smooth everything out. There are reportedly no talks going on between the two sides.
The Redskins have been dealing with very thin depth at LT due to Williams' holdout, Geron Christian Sr. still recovering from MCL surgery, and Ty Nsekhe leaving in free agency. Ereck Flowers has been taking snaps with the first team to hilarious results. Christian returned to team drills today, but he is still limited.
Donald Penn(36years old) brings in a veteran tackle who can fill the role that Nsekhe had here for several years. If rhe holdout goes into the season, Penn is the most likely to get the start at LT, unless Christian makes an incredible leap this year.
