The Redskins brought in two tackles today, and were interested in signing one of them. They wanted Donald Penn, a former 3 time Pro Bowler, but the contract he was looking for was likely too high for Washington.
This leaves Corey Robinson(6'7", 316 lbs, 27 y.o.), a former 7th round pick who played with Ereck Flowers on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Robinson has started 9 games since entering the league with the Detroit Lions in 2015.
The Redskins are expected to extend a contract offer to free agent OT Corey Robinson, per source. Robinson worked out today alongside Donald Penn. Provides much needed depth with Trent Williams holding out.
