Did the Redskins do the right thing?

It's 2019 now, and Adrian Peterson is a Redskin.

Cast your mind back to 2007, the year that AD was drafted.

Joe Gibbs was the coach.

Clinton Portis was a 26-year-old running back, entering his 6th year in the league, and his 4th as a Redskin. Ladell Betts, drafted by Washington in '02, had just signed an extension.

Sean Taylor was a fourth year player whose tragic death was still an unknown future event.

The Redskins had the 6th overall pick in the draft, which they used to select LaRon Landry, defensive back from LSU.

With the 7th pick, the Vikings drafted Adrian Peterson, running back from Oklahoma.
