On this edition of the Rile’d Up Podcast, Tiffany and Nicole caught up with the Redskins beat reporter for the Washington Post, Kareem Copeland, who gave the pair the inside scoop on the first day of Redskins OTAs and the highly anticipated Rookie minicamp.
Copeland praised the Redskins defense, and discussed the uphill battle that rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins will have to climb in to insert himself as QB1, and the importance of this season for Jay Gruden’s future as head coach.
In addition, Tiffany and Nicole ask whether Jimmy Moreland “is the real deal,” how his rapport with Gruden could play dividends for the local youngster. Copeland sees good things in store for the Redskins defensively with the addition of Montez Sweat, and believes that there is plenty of reason for excitement in watching the defensive front seven this year with the return of Jonathan Allen.
