For once, in what feels like way too long, the Redskins put together a sensational draft.
On this week’s Pig Pen Podcast I broke down all the positives from the Redskins draft and the team’s long-term focus.
In a weird turn of events, Joe Theismann critiqued newest Redskins Dwayne Haskins’ language after he was selected. The Super Bowl-winner two took aim at the phrase, “the league done messed up,” which Haskins proclaimed to the world.
Less than a day after making those comments Theismann granted Haskins permission to wear his number–which was unofficially retired from the Redskins.
I close up shop this week with an internal debate between me, myself and I about how the Redskins should handle Josh Doctson’s fifth-year option. Let me know how you think it should be handled, @Denton_Day.
