The Redskins held their first rookie mini-camp of the 2019 offseason this past weekend, and had 44 tryout players in attendance, along with their drafted and UDFA rookies. Five of those players looking for a shot in the NFL will get it with Washington. The Redskins made it official with them this afternoon.

We reported all five signings in our mini-camp coverage this week. The news came from agents, mothers, and the players themselves. Here are your newest Redskins:

Deion Harris, CB, North Dakota

Craig Reynolds, RB, Kutztown

Jerald Foster, OL, Nebraska

Jonathan Bronner, DL, Notre Dame

Austin Maloata, DL, Austin Peay

The Redskins also had to release three players to make room on the 90-man roster. The most notable name on the list is former 2017 7th round pick Joshua Holsey. The former Auburn cornerback appeared in 12 games as a rookie, and was set to compete for a roster spot last year before he suffered a freak toe injury during a move. Holsey only appeared in one game last season.

RB Russell Hansbrough and T Roubbens Joseph were also released. The Redskins are currently full on their 90-man roster, but still have to sign two more draft picks. 1st round pick Montez Sweat, and 3rd round pick Terry McLaurin remain unsigned.
