The carousel of QBs at Redskins Park continues with Washington reportedly bringing Heisman Trophy winning QB Kyler Murray in for a pre-draft visit on April 18th. Murray is projected to go #1 overall, and it would take a massive trade up to get him, or a very unlikely draft day fall.
The Redskins have had, or will have, all of the top QBs visiting before the draft. They also have visits scheduled with several QBs projected to go later in the draft. Washington lost Alex Smith and Colt McCoy to broken legs last season, and traded for Case Keenum last month.
Smith is expected to miss the year, while McCoy and Keenum are left competing for the starting job. A young QB is expected to be be brought in, either through the draft or trade. Rumors about a Josh Rosen trade are hot and cold, with the latest one saying the Redskins aren't actively pursuing him.
Kyler Murray is visiting the #Redskins one week from today - April 18 - per source. @AdamSchefter reported the Heisman Trophy winner visited #Cardinals yesterday with agent Erik Burkhardt. Source also says Redskins are hosting West Virginia QB Will Grier next Tuesday, the 17th.
