UPDATE: Kenny Britt will not be signing with the Redskins...today
The Redskins will not be signing WR Kenny Britt at this time. Britt visited Redskins Park today.— John Keim (@john_keim) April 1, 2019
As reported by Ian Rapoport, veteran wide receiver Kenny Britt will be visiting Redskins Park today.
The former Rutgers first round pick had his best professional season in 2016 with the Rams when Case Keenum was the quarterback, grabbing 68 receptions for 1002 yards and five touchdowns.
Britt will turn 31 just after the 2019 season opens. He did not play foorball on 2018 Fter being cut by the Patriots.
The Redskins need to upgrade a receiving corps that ranked near the bottom of the NFL last season in production - and that need was magnified when Jamison Crowder left this spring via free agency.
The 2019 NFL draft has some very interesting options after the first round that the Redskins would be wise to take advantage of as well.
How would you feel about the Redskins signing Kenny Britt?
