The Redskins have reportedly been involved in trade talks with the Pittsburgh Steelers for WR Antonio Brown who is forcing himself off the team. This trade makes little sense for Washington with their uncertainty at QB, and their current cap space(~$17 million). The Steelers are expected to make a deal today, and their have been a lot of rumors coming out leading up to the start of free agency.
Last night ESPN’s Dianna Russini reported that the Redskins are out on Antonio Brown. This is good news, but it’s not over until it’s over.
Redskins sources also share they are not in the Antonio Brown sweepstakes.

One Gruden brother out...
She also reported that the Saints, Titans, Buccaneers, and Broncos are out of the Antonio Brown sweepstakes.
Also told by sources Buccaneers and Broncos are out

Who was in on the Brown trade? The Green Bay Packers.
It was tough to find teams that were in on Antonio Brown, one of those teams though...the Packers. Green Bay was interested and looking to make moves per sources.

Then came Ian Rapoport to purportedly put an end to the game. The Buffalo Bills were closing in on a deal for Brown.
Sources: The #Steelers are closing in on a deal to send star WR Antonio Brown to the Buffalo #Bills. There it is.

Adam Schefter and others were quick to shoot that report down. Source fight!

Rapoport then countered Russini’s sources that the Packers were in the mix for Brown.
Some wondered about the #Packers. They were never in it. Many teams are out. Where, exactly, does this go? https://t.co/UmBS4eoQ3N

After reporting the Bills were out because Brown said no...
From @gmfb: The #Bills neared a trade last night for WR Antonio Brown, who would not commit to showing up in Buffalo. The organization did speak with agent Drew Rosenhaus. This morning, Buffalo says they are out, amid uncertainty. Steelers are square one again. pic.twitter.com/d4suLfaVWP

What does this mean for the Redskins and Antonio Brown? Not much yet. He is still on the trade block, but his list of suitors is small, or large, depending on your sources. Will a deal happen today? Hopefully so the Redskins name can really be off this list.
