The Redskins didn't tender either of their Restricted Free Agents before the start of the new NFL year at 4 pm today. That means WR Maurice Harris and RB Rob Kelley are now free agents.
Maurice Harris got a big opportunity to shine last year due to injuries to starters Jamison Crowder and Paul Richardson. He started 7 games, but finished the season with 28 catches for 304 yards and 0 TDs. He has also had issues staying healthy every season. Harris is reportedly getting interest from a few teams.
Rob Kelley is an average RB who got thrust into a starting role. The undrafted free agent missed the majority of the season last year with a toe injury that landed him on injured reserve. The Redskins have been looking to upgrade Fat Rob, drafting Samaje Perine and Derrius Guice in back to back drafts, then signing Adrian Peterson after Guice tore his ACL. Peterson just re-signed today, Guice will be back this season, and the team still has Perine and Chris Thompson. Rob Kelley is the odd man out.
WR Maurice Harris/RB Rob Kelley
Take 2, sans typo: The #Redskins did not tender WR Maurice Harris as a restricted free agent, meaning he's now free to sign anywhere. Sounds like he has interest from a few teams after catching 28 passes for 304 yards in 2018.

As @MikeGarafolo just noted - #Redskins didn't tender Maurice Harris. Didn't tender Rob Kelley either.

Was pretty sure that had been reported, but obviously official as of 4pm and Mike has new info that a few teams are in on Harris. Both are free agents.
Mo Harris has drawn interest from 4 teams. Skins have not made an offer (wasn't tendered because would've been 2 mil); doesn't mean they won't at some point. Not sure where that one goes.

The Redskins did tender Exclusive Rights Free Agent RB Byron Marshall and he is back with the team for now. Marshall went to IR last season, but was chosen as one of the team's two players that could return. He was kept instead of fan favorite Kapri Bibbs. Marshall is a long-shot to make the team unless they move on from Samaje Perine.
RB Byron Marshall
Byron Marshall was an ERFA. He's coming back to the #Redskins on the minimum per multiple sources. Don't think that's out there yet. So. Here ya go. https://t.co/hC1S5ClHQ9

Marshall coming back also means absolutely nothing for Adrian Peterson.
