The Redskins are reportedly working to re-sign safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. They traded a 4th round pick to the Green Bay Packers last season before the trade deadline. He was thrown into the mix early, and started all 9 games for the Redskins. He had 66 tackles, 3 passes defended, and 1 forced fumble for Washington. He had 3 interceptions with the Packers earlier in the season, but none after the trade.
The Redskins would like to bring him back to pair him with Landon Collins, who will officially sign his huge deal today. The Redskins released D.J. Swearinger after he continued to bash the team to the media. They also lost Montae Nicholson after his arrest following a drunken street brawl. They were expected to try to re-sign Clinton-Dix, the question is what is he worth, and what will will it take to re-sign him. There has been not reported interest from other teams to re-sign him.
Here's what Clinton-Dix said at the end of the season: "They took a chance and gave up a fourth round pick for me. It showed what they thought of me as a player, as an individual, as a leader. So it’s only right that I give Washington the open hands first." #Redskins https://t.co/ihqWNZLON3
