Todd McShay Gives the Redskins a Game-Breaking WR in his Latest Mock Draft

NCAA Football: Big 12 Championship-Texas vs Oklahoma Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

ESPN Senior Writer and draft guru Todd McShay dropped his latest mock draft early Thursday morning. You can see his entire first round here (Insider Subscription required).

The Redskins are picking at #15 in the first round, and can go in many different directions based on team needs and projected value at that pick. However, most expect the Redskins to target a quarterback if one they like is available in the early rounds.

Despite Drew Lock and Daniel Jones sitting there at #15, McShay has the Redskins taking a play-making wide receiver.

15. Washington Redskins

Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma*

Washington really wants a receiver, and Brown is an absolute burner. Despite being 5-foot-9, he can win vertically and has shown the ability to pluck the ball away from his body even as he rips along in fifth gear. The Redskins will keep an eye on quarterback Alex Smith’s recovery, but Brown makes sense here for a team that needs a spark on offense.

As a Redskins fan, how do you feel about the 5’9” 168 pound speedster in the first round?
