KS4GM's Still Too Soon Second 2019 Mock Draft

Yes, it's still too soon, and yes, it's probably not realistic, but I'm now hooked on mock drafts, and want to share them with the world. My latest draft, using Fanspeak's On the Clock draft simulator, was done with the Walter Football Big Board (2/6/19).

My fear now is that this draft is utter perfection, the Platonic Form of Mock Drafts, unable to be surpassed. You be the judge.

Round 1 (Pick 15):

Devin White (ILB) - It's no secret, I'm a Devin White freak, and anytime Devin White is available at #15, I am taking him all day, every day.

Round 2 (Pick 14):

Nasir Adderly (S) - I "reached" for Adderly at this point, as he was the second highest S still left on the board, but I would be absolutely joyous to have Adderly at this spot. The team needs a long term solution at FS, and Adderly could certainly fit that bill.

Round 3 (Pick 12):

Rock Ya-Sin (CB) - My desire to move on from Josh Norman's bloated contract has been trumpeted from one end of HH to the other. Ya-Sin immediately bolsters a young and potentially promising DB corps.

Round 3 (Pick 32):

Jarrett Stidham (QB) - I could probably be satisfied with Easton Stick later in the draft, but I think Stidham is a good compromise - a QB who has a good shot of "adequate back-up" floor and a ceiling that could plausibly be "respectable NFL starter."

Round 5 (Pick 15):

Ryan Bates (G) - I'm going solely off Mark Tyler's recommendation here. He knows PSU football and says this guy is an underrated stud. We need a LG, and I believe him. Done.

Round 5 (Pick 33):

Porter Gustin (EDGE) - With Preston leaving, and hopefully netting us a third round comp pick in 2020, we need a replacement at EDGE. I'm not certain Gustin will last this long in the actual draft, but if he does, I think he's a steal here. Let's just hope he stays healthy.

Round 6 (Pick 32):

Anthony Johnson (WR) - Johnson is nothing particularly special, but has a reputation as a reliable, jack-of-all trades receiver. This is probably my least fawning pick of this draft.

Round 7 (Pick 13):

Isaac Nauta (TE) - We need more TEs. I've been banging the drum for drafting TEs high this year, but the truth is, there are too many good ones in the draft, and too many other holes we need to fill more. Nauta could be an "elite blocker" in the NFL according to some reports, and has great hands, as well as a high floor. He's a very nice pick at this position.
