This year’s QBs vs last year’s:
Doug Williams says the 2019 QB class doesn’t look as good as last year. No clear cut No. 1

Doug Williams time. Says no real QB standout in this class at this point compared to Sam Darnold last year.

Quarterback:
William's on adding a QB this off-season. Says "9 out of 10 times" he would think they go with a young guy. Didn't say if that meant draft or not.

Doug Williams said even the QB's the Redskins have graded in the fourth round have something to offer Washington.

Trade:
That said...Doug Williams doesn’t envision the #Redskins moving up in the 1st round. “We got a lot more needs on this football team than to say we can give up 2 or 3 picks.” pic.twitter.com/6JRnftG5Rv

Doug Williams does not sound like trading up is an option for Redskins. He says if there’s a QB they like at 15 then it’s an “easy choice”
— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) February 28, 2019
Williams said he doesn't anticipate the #Redskins moving up in the draft because they have too many holes to fill.

They can't give up picks to get one guy because one guy won't fix their problems.
Trading up for a QB is "not something that we even talked about at this time," Redskins Senior VP of Player Personnel Doug Williams says. https://t.co/ViYSoMV7Td

“No, no, we’re not sitting here saying, ‘We have an extra four picks, let’s move up,’” Williams said. “That’s not something that we even talked about at this time. We got a lot more needs on this football team than we can say, we can give up two or three picks and say pick one guy and think we’re going to have a football team that we hope to have. I think we’ve got to use our picks wisely, and make sure we get guys that come in here and help us build this football team a lot better than what it is. I don’t want to say its pressure, but it all depends. If there’s one there at 15 that we like, that’s a easy choice to make, but we not gonna reach for a guy because we don’t have one.”
Team needs:
Williams says the Redskins have a lot of needs besides quarterback. Mentioned outside rusher, guard, safety, inside linebacker

Josh Doctson:
Doug Williams says Redskins have not made a decision yet on Josh Doctson’s 5th year option for 2020.
— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) February 28, 2019
Ha Ha Clinton-Dix:
Doug Williams says they’re not going to just resign Ha Ha Clinton-Dix just because of the lack of depth. Still have to evaluate him and decide if they wanna re-sign. #redskins

Left Guard:
At this moment, Doug Williams doesn’t think the starting left guard is on the roster. #redskins
