Redskins Senior Vice President of Personnel Doug Williams following Jay Gruden Q&A today with his own. He talked about Josh Docston’s 5th year options, finding a starting LG, trading up in this year’s draft, and the QBs available in 2019.

This year’s QBs vs last year’s:

“No, no, we’re not sitting here saying, ‘We have an extra four picks, let’s move up,’” Williams said. “That’s not something that we even talked about at this time. We got a lot more needs on this football team than we can say, we can give up two or three picks and say pick one guy and think we’re going to have a football team that we hope to have. I think we’ve got to use our picks wisely, and make sure we get guys that come in here and help us build this football team a lot better than what it is. I don’t want to say its pressure, but it all depends. If there’s one there at 15 that we like, that’s a easy choice to make, but we not gonna reach for a guy because we don’t have one.”
