According to reports today, Giants All-Pro safety Landon Collins cleaned out his locker at the Giants team facility, and said his goodbye’s to teammates.
I’m told that Giants S Landon Collins cleaned out his locker today at the team facility and said his goodbyes to teammates, coaches and trainers. It doesn’t seem like Collins expects to be a Giant for much longer, per sources.

It has been reported that the Giants will not use the franchise tag on the star safety, making him a free agent when the new league year starts.
And then there’s this little nugget:
Landon Collins says the dream is to be a Washington Redskin. His #1 choice

The Redskins are in desperate need of a playmaking safety after cutting D.J. Swearinger late last season, and with HaHa Clinton-Dix set to become a free agent in March.
Collins is a do-it-all safety who would represent a massive upgrade to the back end of the Skins defense, and also continue to build the Alabama wall.
It’s not often you hear a player show a genuine desire to be a Redskins, and when one of this caliber does, it should definitely spark interest among the fan-base...and hopefully the front office!
