The Daily Twitter will be posted at the beginning of every day (at midnight in Washington, DC). The goal is to give readers a handy spot to check the Redskins beat writers & bloggers, and national sports journalists to keep up on the latest news about the Redskins, the NFL, and sports in general, along with a smattering of other things.

One year ago today, Alex Smith suffered a gruesome knee injury.

His wife Liz posted this video on Instagram giving us a small glimpse of what Alex has gone through over the last year.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen Moses take accountability for anything. He probably doesn’t understand why he gets flagged for holding all the time or what a snap count is. https://t.co/UJcTQoJh1W
— Robbie Duncan (@RobbieDuncanOL) November 18, 2019
I didn’t read the full thing this time. That said, I don’t recall him at least this season acknowledging that he needs to play better. He’s blamed his holding calls on the refs while they were all in fact legit penalties, being a great example.
— Robbie Duncan (@RobbieDuncanOL) November 18, 2019
Per @RickDocWalker, some #Redskins players were mad about Callahan holding practice on Wednesday of bye wk (perfectly allowable via CBA) & having back-to-back padded practices last wk. You may recall we also had #Skins players complaining about practice last December. #TheCulture

The Redskins are now 60-100 since Bruce Allen was hired 10 years ago. They've snuck into the playoffs and lost in the first round twice under him. They have won more than 9 games just once. Yet, his role has expanded since he was originally hired.

Love this toughness in the pocket and accurate ball under pressure here by Haskins. pic.twitter.com/cRipvPdD6d

Here you see Morgan Moses’ complete lack of awareness and inability to effectively execute a simple slide protection. pic.twitter.com/zdfFuH6uc7

Dude again lol smh playing QB on this level is by far the toughest Job for a Rookie especially when guys aren’t being accountable. easier to point fingers at the rook but turn on the Tape and guys getting beat before he can set his feet https://t.co/8jYyXpP0e8

A lot of backasswards thing have happened this season, but the the fact that Ereck Flowers has been our best offensive lineman simply blows my mind

THIS is why we need a LT in the 2020 NFL Draft. Love how Penn has stepped in, but he just doesn’t have the athleticism anymore. pic.twitter.com/bvvEzeTH7e

The Redskins have lost 9 straight home games. Their last win at FedEx Field was 393 days ago. Since then they are 0-9 with an average loss of 16.8 points. They've lost by 10+ 7 times and by at least 16 five times. Only one of the 9 losses by one-possession.

Yo know what in a way I'm kind of glad the Bears suck this year. Just imagine if they somehow fell ass backwards into 9 or 10 wins and lost in the wildcard round again.
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) November 18, 2019
Nagy wouldn't get fired, Pace wouldn't get fired, Mitch might get his option.
It's a cleaner break this way.

Real talk this is going to be Rivers’ last season as a Charger, right?
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) November 19, 2019
Philip Rivers has 61 losses by 7 or fewer points as a starting quarterback.

I think there are so few Chargers fans these days because most of them died of heartbreak years ago.

‘Don’t mention the economy’
— ThaiMythbuster (@thaimythbuster) November 19, 2019
Deputy PM Somkid Jatusripitak urged the public not to discuss Thailand’s economic problems, saying this could have a psychological impact on investor confidence. Maybe Thaksin’ idea recycler Somkid should leave the economy to professionals instead?
