Bruce Allen held a press conference for he first time in almost 5 years today. The reason? He had to explain why he fired Head Coach Jay Gruden but did not perform seppuku for the shame he has himself brought upon this franchise. Bruce Allen and Dan Snyder continue to run this organization into the ground and nothing will change until they are both gone.

He focuses his answer more on this season. Not about his record over the long term.

— Matthew Paras (@Matthew_Paras) October 7, 2019
I asked Bruce Allen his level of accountability for the Redskins struggles. He said it’s a fair question and that he knows how poor the record is. He’s focused on improving going forward.

— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) October 7, 2019
I have no words.
